Bill has over ten years experience fighting for the rights of his clients in courtrooms across the State of Connecticut. During the past decade, Bill has represented a great many clients at trial and in the appellate courts. In civil cases, Bill has obtained verdicts and judgments of up to two million dollars for his clients. In one civil rights case, Ham v. Green, Bill fought for the rights of a falsely arrested young man, obtaining a $1.2 million dollar verdict at trial. Bill successfully fought all appellate challenges to this verdict, including opposing a Petition for Certiorari to the Supreme Court of the United States. The verdict was paid.

Bill has recently obtained a two million dollar judgment in a wrongful death lawsuit.

Bill is similarly experienced in handling criminal matters and police misconduct. Bill has represented many people accused of crimes in nearly every court in the State of Connecticut. Bill has tried cases ranging from the most serious felonies - murder, sexual assault, arson - to misdemeanors and infractions. No criminal matter, felony or misdemeanor, is too large or too small to have the best defense.
